Description: Winners of Southampton’s Best Bar 2008, Orange Rooms is an independently owned, bar, eatery & cocktail lounge.
With retro inspired decor and music policy, great food, and a relaxed atmosphere, Orange Rooms has been one of not only Southampton’s but the Souths most popular venues since it’s creation eight years ago. Tuesday nights is Quids In, a student night, entry is £2 and there is a raffle at the end of the night to win all the money taken on the door. At the weekend the focus is on DJ’s which vary week to week, then on Sunday nights a more laid back event, including acoustic open mike sessions, comedy nights and quizzes.

Description: Kaos is a student only club, with ID being checked on entry. It is normally £3 entry, and the speciality drink ‘Kyrptonite’ is £3.50, other drinks are very cheap, as it is aimed solely at students.

Description: Dungeon is an alternative club playing rock and metal music, although Wednesdays does offer an ‘alternative cheese’ night. Drinks promos are very cheap, including £1.50 doubles on Wednesdays, entry ranges between £2 and £4 and on Friday and Saturday nights it’s free entry before 9pm.

Avondale
Student Pub situated in Bedford Place, fantastic for light bites while wathing football matches. A great atmosphere and staff. Quids in Tuesdays, includes a pound for pints, bottles, and other drinks. Great place to begin any Tuesday Night.
